Moms Unite
I love reading mom blogs. I’m not sure if that’s the correct term, but anyway, you know what I’m talking about. It’s the current version of moms getting together at the park and chatting while the kids play away, except without the sand, temper tantrums, and breaking up fights.
I like it because I don’t feel alone, and it alleviates some of the guilt. Thank goodness someone else has a daughter with roller-coaster mood swings. Or Good, I’m not crazy, my kid’s homework isn’t nearly as much as I remember when I was in school.
I feel connected somehow. If there’s one thing about motherhood no one tells you about, it’s the feeling of isolation that is so prevalent. At least I found some people who can make me laugh about it.
