You’d never know she was having a good time with all the whining. But she can always stop to smile for the camera.

Manchild finally got in the water. This was his first time in a pool. Up to this point, he couldn’t stand for his clothes to be wet.

Jumpshot enjoyed diving for coins with James. And he finally worked through his fear and canon-balled in the deep end.

Isn’t this the life? Manchild especially enjoyed the float, and Diva loved pushing him around (literally and figuratively). She’s my girl!

Our two Bettas live harmoniously in a small tank with a divider. Swimmy-Blue-Fin (his name changes a lot) would spend a lot of time flaring at Bubbles, who began flaring back. James thought this was too stressful for the fish, and he suggested separate tanks for them.

It so happens that I had two clear plastic boxes that I got as a kind of party favor at the last all-day crop. I had a feeling they would make perfect homes for our pets. Wouldn’t you know, it worked out tremendously. The transfer went very smoothly, and no signs of trauma. I think they like their new homes. What a relief!

I have been trying to follow Fly Lady for a little while now. I’m attempting to replace my bad habits and ineffective routines with good habits and effective routines. It is a constant struggle for me.

An important tool Fly Lady gives us is the Control Journal. I started mine, but I haven’t been able to get farther than the first step. So in an effort to motivate myself, I made a pretty cover for my journal.

Let’s hope it gives me the jumpstart I need.
