Don't Wake The Kids

And Other Rules for Motherhood

Live Scrapbooking Blogging

I’m at an all-day crop. So I thought it would be fun to post my pages as I complete them.

We went on vacation in 2009, and I have yet to get the album done. So here goes!

Grocery List Madness Update

Last week I told you about ZipList, the wonderful online tool that makes writing out the dreadful grocery list more manageable.

I also mentioned that our only complaint was that James and I couldn’t share the same list using our iPhones. Well the wonderful support at ZipList informed me there is a way to share the same list on our iPhones.

After a few clicks, we figured it out. Now I can start a list, share it with James, and we can both add or delete items from it.

I’m still playing with all the features, but I did discover a few fascinating features:

  1. You can add items by barcode. Just take a picture of the barcode on the packaging, and ZipList finds it.
  2. You can add details about the item, including price. This would be real helpful to all you coupon gurus out there.
  3. It has a recipe search feature. Once you find a recipe you like, ZipList will automatically add the ingredients to your list.

I have to say it is actually making planning a grocery run a little bit more fun.
