Don't Wake The Kids

And Other Rules for Motherhood

Scrapbooking on Canvas

I’ve wanted to scrapbook on canvas for a while.

004-1

I gathered the necessary supplies, and voila!

006-2

I’m hooked. I can’t wait to do more!

Back in Action

There’s one word to describe the reason for my absence lately – overwhelming. It happens to all of us. Work, family, the need to sleep. So the blogging gets pushed to the bottom of the list.

So let’s catch up.

I won’t bore you with my hectic work schedule, but I do have to mention that I haven’t had much spare time the last few weeks mainly because I’ve been working long hours.

Here are some precious family moments we’ve had the last month or so.

The boys played flag football.

320This was Manchild’s first sport. He started the season not wanting to stay on the field, but by the final week he was running down field with his team.

225Jumpshot was quite the star player on his team. And although they lost in the championship game, he gained confidence and had a fun time playing.

Manchild and Diva went on field trips. I was able to go with Manchild’s class and meet Diva when her class went to the park for lunch.

284Jumpshot graduated from 6th grade.

176Diva broke her arm the second to last day of school.

So that’s what’s been going on in a nutshell. Now the kids are out of school, and it’s time for the summer adventures to begin. Thanks for your patience with me. Feel free to share your precious family moments too!
