Project Update Monday
Lauri, a friend of mine, had a crafters garage sale this weekend. She graciously let me show up late. She’s a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up. I’ve never attempted stamping, and she was so excited to show me what I was missing … bunches! I finally got some time Sunday afternoon to make this card:
It’s just a simple 5×7 Happy Birthday card. I used rose colored cardstock for the card, then I layered on a matching patterned paper, and then I topped it with a square of ivory cardstock. I stamped a large flower and a birthday greeting in gold. To add a little bling, I added some pink and yellow dewdrops to the left.
I need a little work on my stamping technique, but I all in all it was easy as Lauri said it would be. I think I’m hooked. Thanks, Lauri!
