You’d never know she was having a good time with all the whining. But she can always stop to smile for the camera.

Manchild finally got in the water. This was his first time in a pool. Up to this point, he couldn’t stand for his clothes to be wet.

Jumpshot enjoyed diving for coins with James. And he finally worked through his fear and canon-balled in the deep end.

Isn’t this the life? Manchild especially enjoyed the float, and Diva loved pushing him around (literally and figuratively). She’s my girl!

I finally got to a class/event I paid for at Scrapbook & Co.! This class was a very special class: How to use your Cricut to decorate a cake.

Two lovely sisters taught us the necessary techniques to make professional-looking cakes.

So nothing much exciting to report this week.

The kids are still enjoying camp. They are enjoying sleeping in a bit as well. I guess we’ll have to start to change though to get ready for school. I can’t believe it’s only a few weeks away.

I admit I’m going to miss sleeping a little later myself.

As an adult, moments of new discoveries are rare. When’s the last time you were truly amazed at something? I can’t remember.

Tonight the children played with sparklers for the first time. They were beyond thrilled. James took them outside to light the sparklers while I stayed inside.

Each of them ran inside, jumped on my bed and told me how awesome it was. Their smiles melt my heart. They are my sparklers.
